We enjoy sharing our passion, learning and ideas with others and love to spread the word about family adventure through humorous, informative, multimedia, motivational talks. We’re experienced in talking with groups from schools, to community groups to festivals and as stand alone lectures. As well as talks on adventure we also speak at conferences and on conference panels on family travel, social media, blogging and creative campaigns. Through her site, Poet in Motion, Kirstie can even entertain you with poetry.

Sessions can follow a particular journey or a theme and we’re happy to tailor them to address particular business, conference or festival themes, audience interests, time slots. We can also deliver in lecture, workshop or interactive style as preferred.
Our sessions draw upon our personal experience and ongoing research into family adventure. We’re in touch with a wide network of adventurous families doing extraordinary things right across the globe so we can bring a wide perspective to complement our own personal experiences, giving first hand accounts of what it’s like to adventure and highlighting what families adventuring together can achieve.
Our experience of travelling with kids is long and varied so we’ve many a tale to tell about cycling, sailing, canoeing, camper-vanning, eco-touring, roadtripping, railroading and backpacking in places as diverse as New Zealand, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Samoa, America, Sweden, Canada, France, Spain, Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and the UK. And that includes some 20,000km of independent self supported family cycle touring experience.
Inspiring talks about realities of family adventure
Using pictures, video and audio, we can take you on virtual journey to see places, do things and meet people we’ve encountered. We can show amazing things you can do as a family, explain the benefits of adventuring together, talk about what it means to be an adventure parent, discuss how to cultivate the spirit of adventure in kids, share what we’ve learnt on our travels together, and help inspire you and your group to get out, get active and do extraordinary things together.
